Our story began on Remembrance Day 1923.
In the aftermath of World War I, a small group of compassionate Australians came together with one shared belief: every child who had lost a parent in the war deserved the chance to grow, learn and thrive. That belief became our foundation.

Why a yellow poppy
The poppy has long been a symbol of remembrance. We chose yellow for the promise of brighter days and the light that follows darkness: happiness, success and new beginnings, the qualities we want every young person to carry with them.
Our values
We empower young people to believe in themselvesBy removing financial barriers, we help students focus on learning, grow in confidence and see what’s possible.
Every student’s journey is differentWe adapt our support to meet young people where they are, as their needs, challenges and goals change.
Good things happen in communityWe walk closely with students, families, schools and partners, because lasting change is never built alone.
We take responsibility seriouslyWe are thoughtful, transparent and committed to using every dollar and every opportunity well.
