How you can help 2020-09-04T01:05:13+00:00

A Start in Life is a not-for-profit organisation. We receive no government funding, and therefore depend on the generosity of individuals, corporations and community groups to help us make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged Australian students.

Your donation will give a young person a start in life by ensuring the barriers to their education are removed, empowering and equipping each student to break free from difficult circumstances, and in doing so you are making a positive difference for current and future generations.

Please support the work we do by making a donation to A Start in Life. All donations over $2 are tax-deductible.

Make Regular Donations

The A Start in Life Student Sponsorship Program gives supporters an opportunity to provide ongoing assistance to financially disadvantaged students in Australia.

Three times each year, sponsors will receive the latest copy of “Student Achievements: The Impact of Your Support”. Each edition includes updates from some of our students, demonstrating the ways your support is helping them to overcome the barriers they face throughout their education.

By spreading your donation across the year, you are providing us with a sustainable, reliable income. Your sponsorship will automatically be deducted from your account or credit card monthly or bi-annually, and at the end of the financial year you will receive one tax-deductible receipt.
