with Walk a Day in Our Shoes

Did you know thousands of Aussie school kids could miss out on vital education and school activities simply because they don't have the right school shoes? The Athletes Foot

That's why we have launched Walk a Day in Our Shoes, a project which aims to provide young Australians with one of the most basic necessities that, sadly, many don't have access.

High schools in NSW have introduced a need for students to wear compliant shoes for safety reasons. Unfortunately, many struggling Australian families are unable to meet the cost of this change, so we're going to help them. Our goal is to buy 1,000 pairs of compliant school shoes for disadvantaged Aussie students in 2011.

One hundred dollars will buy a child a pair of shoes to go to school. In this campaign, we're asking for donations of $50, which we will match o make sure these kids get the right shoes.

The Walk a Day in Our Shoes project was launched on Wednesday 10th November 2010 at Picton High School and on 26th November, Great Australian, The Athlete's Foot partnered and supports this essential project.

Help provide these little Aussie battlers with the rights shoes for school and give them the right start.
